Netherlands Government Extends National Music Festival Ban Until August

In connection of COVID-19 the Netherlands government extended the ban on national musical events by not less than one month, based on persisting health risks to the population.

The Dutch government originally decided to lift the restrictions for all festivals, but has since re-imposed said restricts on dance clubs; music festivals.
The reason for reintroducing restrictions on these events is the upsurge of COVID-19 diseases among young people.
